The inner bowl is crocheted. The runes are made of white air hardened clay and painted with ink. The design on the bowl is four Thor's Hammers.
Gourds are the perfect medium for me. I can carve them, use pyrography, paint, weave, dye or write on them. I can do tribal art, primitive motifs, cutesy stuff, patriotic themes, goth looks, or whatever suits my fancy. So far I haven't run out of ideas! Text and Photos Copyright Fayme Harper 2012.
